Jérôme De Oliveira became the youngest Pastry World Champion in 2009 at 23, having trained with Christophe Michalak at the Plaza Athénée. He opened Intuitions in April 2012 on the ground floor of the Five Seas Hotel — a luxury salon de gourmandises one block from the Croisette, two doors east of Vilfeu. Year-round: signature pastries (the Paris-Cannes reworking of the Paris-Brest), chocolates, marshmallows, macarons. In summer: the champion's glaces and sorbets — the highest-credentialed ice cream address in Cannes.
