SOF Riviera is a curated guide to the French Riviera, comprising the website sofriviera.com and the SOF mobile app. You can reach us at contact@sofriviera.com. This policy covers the website; the mobile app has its own in-app privacy notice.
What we collect
Browsing the public guide needs no account. We keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance, with no advertising trackers. Venue professionals who sign in provide a name and email address — handled by Google Firebase Authentication, via Google or email sign-in — along with the venue-claim details they submit (their role, an optional contact phone, a short proof note) and any edits they make to their venue listing.
How we use it
We use this data to authenticate you, verify venue-ownership claims, let you manage your listing, and contact you about your claim or account. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, and Hosting) processes data on our behalf under Google’s security and privacy terms; hosting is in the EU where applicable.
Cookies and local storage
We use only what is necessary to keep you signed in (the Firebase authentication session). There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Retention
Account and claim data is kept while your account or claim is active. Contact us if you would like it deleted.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data by emailing contact@sofriviera.com.

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version.
