The beach sits inside the harbour's natural shelter, which makes the water clear, calm, and warm earlier than anywhere else on the Riviera. The promenade behind it runs the length of the bay; the train station drops you a hundred metres away.

Swim out fifty metres at sunrise — the bay is still, the bottom drops to twenty.
