Castel Plage

Below Castle Hill on the eastern curve of the bay, Castel runs the same parasol layout it has since the 80s. Loungers in tight rows, a restaurant under shaded sail, the rocks closing the cove from the east. The light leaves last here — golden hour stays an hour longer than on the Promenade-side beaches.

Reserve a front-row lounger before 11 in season; the second row faces the wall.
