On Place du Commandant Lamy — Roger Vergé opened L'Amandier in the 1970s as the casual sister to the 3★ Moulin de Mougins. Vergé died in 2015; the restaurant continues under new operators with the cooking school on site. The editorial node in the Mougins-as-gastronomy-capital story.
