Port Hercule

Boats here range from forty feet to three hundred. The quay is public, the chandlers are real, and the Yacht Club at the eastern end keeps a discreet bar that welcomes a well-dressed walk-in. In the right light — late afternoon, October — the harbour is more painting than place.
