On Route de Plascassier in the Grasse countryside — the mas that housed Lou Fassum (1★ under Chef Emmanuel Ruz, closed 2024–25) is now Lougolin under Chef **Xavier Malandran**. The name is a Provençal contraction honouring his son Hugo. Bistrot register, seasonal Mediterranean cuisine, the same panoramic terrace toward the Estérel and the Mediterranean. Menu plaisir at lunch; tasting menus by reservation.

A long lunch on the terrace — the view of the Estérel haze on a clear day is the case for the journey out from the old town.
