Musée Renoir — Domaine des Collettes
Renoir bought the Collettes in 1907 to save its ancient olive grove from developers, then built a house and stayed until he died in 1919. The studio, the wheelchair, ten canvases and the garden are all here — three hectares of silver olive and citrus that wrote themselves into his late landscapes.
Walk the olive terraces first, the house second — that's the order he worked in.
