Inside the small 5-star La Ponche on Place du Revelin — Boris Vian wrote here in the 1950s, Picasso drank here, the Tropéziens still do. A small bar room with bottle-green velvet, low lighting, the antithesis of Caves du Roy. The quiet late drink when the village is too loud.
