A small old-town gelato counter where the recipes change with the market and the pastel cones rotate by season. Pistachio, dark chocolate, fig leaf, the citrons when the citrons are in. Eat standing outside on Rue Saint François; the alley is narrow but the cone melts slower under the limestone shade.

Ask for the fig-leaf when it appears — it lasts two weeks a year.
