Place des Lices

A square shaped by 200-year-old plane trees and the men who play pétanque under them. Cafés on three sides (Le Café, Sénéquier annex, Le Gorille). Tuesday and Saturday morning the place fills with the village market — Provence produce, lavender, olives, the same vendors for decades.

Saturday morning before nine — the market is in setup, the boules courts are quiet, the light is best.
