Two kitchens — Thai on one side, Japanese on the other — share a courtyard built around a koi pond and a stone Buddha. The lunch service is slower than it looks; ninety minutes minimum, two hours preferred. Lighting is calibrated for a quiet table.

Ask for the corner booth nearest the koi pond. The sound of water is half the meal.
